What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant (PCA) position at Right at Home?
Right at Home is looking for multiple PCA’s to fill client needs in several locations including: Niantic, Old Lyme, Clinton, Westbrook! MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO THESE LOCATIONS. A vehicle is required for this position.
Essential Functions
- Personal Care (Including but not limited to: Bed baths, help using restroom, getting in and out of the shower, AM and PM care, incontinence care etc.)
- Performs various homemaking activities such as: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, doing dishes, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, and doing laundry.
- Driving to appointments and grocery shopping.
- Redirection with Dementia/Parkinson's
- Medication Reminders
Qualifications
- High School graduate or G.E.D certificate preferred.
- Personal Care experience
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have use of an insured motor vehicle.
