Responsibilities of Assistant Scheduler
- Must be flexible to work 5 days/week (INCLUDING ON-CALL EVERY OTHER WEEKEND)
- Match, assign and schedule caregivers based on skill level, availability and client requirements
- Maintains intimate knowledge of the Client/Caregiver schedule. Ensure caregivers are properly scheduled and prepared for clients' shifts.
- Communicates continually with clients, families and case managers on an ongoing basis
- Handles incoming phone calls/ emails - assists in managing daily office activities
- Assists with recruiting to include, interviewing, assistance with paperwork and other duties as they arise.
- Assist with in-home and in-office orientation and training of caregivers
- Performs on-call coordinator duties as needed
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
Requirements of Assistant Scheduler
- ·Healthcare related office experience STRONGLY preferred
- Superior customer service and strong communicate skills (Written and Verbal)
- Serves as a team player within an office environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and excel in time management'
