Systems Support Specialist

Overview :
The Systems Support Specialist provides frontline technical support and project management for our clients. This role requires both reactive support excellence and the ability to manage concurrent projects while maintaining high client satisfaction levels.
- This is NOT a remote position
Core Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
On-call rotation required
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple tasks and has strong verbal and written communication skills and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail, especially regarding data quality. Candidate must have a strong technical working knowledge of business networking environments with the ability to troubleshoot client / server applications. This individual must be able to troubleshoot and learn new environments with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities :
Resolve client technical issues through remote and on-site supportManage and execute concurrent IT projects when neededProvide escalated technical support for high-priority accountsConduct on-site client visits in the greater Houston / Brazoria metropolitan areaCreate and maintain technical documentationCoordinate with operations team on implementation timelinesPerform proactive system maintenance and monitoringOffer phone and email support using a ticket management systemSupport desktops, laptops, servers, tablets, smartphones, and applicationsMaintain systems, applications, security, and network configurationsTroubleshoot network performance and LAN / WAN systemsTechnical Requirements :
Windows Server, Exchange, SharePoint, VMWare / Hyper-V administrationWAN / LAN connectivity, firewalls, VPN configurationTerminal services, Windows 10 / 11, Office 365 managementActive Directory, DHCP, DNS, Azure administrationProficiency in server migration and cloud transition projectsExpertise with MSP automation and monitoring toolsRequired Qualifications :
3 years experience in similar MSP roleStrong project management capabilitiesExcellent documentation practicesSuperior client communication skillsProven track record of reliable attendanceDemonstrated ability to follow established proceduresExperience managing escalated client relationshipsPreferred Experience :
