Our client a global consulting and engagement agency, due to continuing growth, has openings in two of its U.S. locations—Morristown, NJ and Stamford, CT -- for an experienced Business Development Director with a track record in sales of marketing solutions or professional services.
The Business Development Director is an individual contributor and is responsible for the full sales cycle. The company is an expert designing solutions for its clients that help them attract, engage and retain employees, run effective sales contests and incentives, build dynamic customer loyalty programs, and create effective corporate events delivering real results.
Qualifications of the Business Development Director:
· Candidates must be currently located within the Morristown, NJ or Stamford, CT market. The role is hybrid in the sense that the director must be in the office unless out in the field meeting with prospects.
- Minimum seven years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies, with solid tenures at previous employers —No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years.
- Clear history of new business development selling marketing solutions, professional business services or technology.
- Exp selling into these verticals is a plus: Pharma, Financial Services, Insurance, Public accounting
- Quota track record - Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in large accounts Large volume sales experience ($250k plus per sale)
- Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months)
- Four-year college degree is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required; Proficiency with web, SaaS, and mobile applications a plus.
Compensation:
Business Development Directors are automatically eligible for a suite of performance management reward programs, including an annual President's Club travel award. Other benefits include car allowance, company laptop, mobile device reimbursement and expense account for client entertainment.
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
