We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RN Quality Clinical Excellence Specialist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in coordinating efforts related to disease-specific certifications and ensuring compliance with clinical excellence standards, particularly in Heart Failure (HF) and Stroke care. The ideal candidate will play a key role in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation readiness, and clinical staff education to drive superior patient outcomes.

- Certification Management:
- Coordinate all activities, metrics, and standard compliance related to Heart Failure and Stroke Disease Specific Care Certifications.
- Lead and support accreditation and re-certification efforts to maintain recognition of clinical excellence.
- Quality Improvement (QI) Initiatives:
- Collect, enter, analyze, and present a variety of QI data including Core Measures, medical staff quality data, occurrence and complaint data, and peer review metrics.
- Serve as a QI leader, collaborating across departments and/or QA teams to drive performance improvement efforts.
- Performance & Compliance Leadership:
- Facilitate hospital-wide compliance with accreditation and certification standards.
- Champion and lead performance improvement teams focused on disease-specific care.
- Education & Staff Support:
- Serve as a resource to hospital leadership and staff for all matters related to HF and Stroke care standards.
- Provide staff education and lead Quality orientation sessions for new employees.
- Support clinical team rounding with expertise in quality and certification-related practices.
- Survey & Accreditation Preparation:
- Lead hospital accreditation survey activities and ensure continuous readiness.
- Community Engagement:
- Develop and lead community outreach programs related to Heart Failure and Stroke awareness, prevention, and care best practices.
- Clinical Excellence Advocacy:
- Demonstrate critical problem-solving skills and actively implement process improvements that enhance patient care delivery.
- Current RN license (State of [Insert State]) required
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on cardiovascular or stroke care preferred
- Prior experience in quality improvement, clinical documentation, or accreditation strongly desired
- Proficient in data collection, interpretation, and reporting
- Strong communication, education, and team collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards, Core Measures, and Disease-Specific Certifications preferred
- RN licensure is required
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 2-3 years clinical hospital experience
- Certification Heart Failure Nurse
- SME on clinical practice guidelines and evidenced based practice for treating patients with stroke, heart failure and chest pain.
