Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Underwriting Manager to lead our mortgage underwriting team at Right Start Mortgage. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the underwriting process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a seamless workflow from application to approval.
Responsibilities:

- Lead and inspire a team of underwriters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and collaboration.

- Manage and supervise daily mortgage underwriting operations, ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures.

- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency in underwriting decisions.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Provide guidance on complex or exceptional cases, ensuring consistent and well-documented underwriting decisions.

Qualifications
