PRIMARY LOCATION: Baltimore, Maryland
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time 11pm-7am shift available
SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Awake Overnight Staff Member to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have experience in addiction recovery services and a strong commitment to providing empathetic support to individuals on their recovery journey.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the facility and clients during overnight hours to ensure a safe environment.
- Conduct regular checks on clients and document any significant observations.
- Provide support and assistance to clients as needed, including crisis intervention.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records.
- Facilitate communication between clients and day staff through detailed shift reports.
- Uphold facility policies and procedures to maintain order and security.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents according to established protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in communal areas.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in addiction recovery, counseling, or social work is preferred.
- Experience working in a residential treatment facility, detox center, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of addiction, recovery processes, and related interventions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire overnight shift.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and respond to crises effectively.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Background check and drug screening required.

- Certified Peer Recovery Specialist - CPRS
