They are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who will focus on enhancing finance-related systems and processes, ensuring they align with business objectives. This is a hybrid position based in New Haven County, CT.
Business Systems Analyst’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Partner with finance, IT, and business teams to gather and define system requirements.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, developing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Lead and support the development of financial tools and software, ensuring smooth integration across platforms.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to oversee system enhancements and address cross-functional dependencies.
Business Systems Analyst’s Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role within financial or insurance sectors.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (Acumatica experience is a plus).
