Position Title : Strategic Sourcing Specialist, OS&E
Department : Strategic Sourcing
Reports to : Strategic Sourcing Director
Key Relationships :

External : Suppliers and SRI
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval.
- Develop and issue RFP / RFQ materials for pricing analysis and vendor selection, and project manage incoming bids and samples for review and analysis by the Strategic Sourcing Director and Project Manager in the property.
- Regularly manage and maintain active pricing databases and published materials for CAPEX.
- Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
- Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
- Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
- Collaborating with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.
- Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.
- Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships with Suppliers.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers against contractual standards and collaborate with Suppliers to achieve continuous improvements in costs and performance.
- Compile and analyze vendor activity data to produce periodic internal reports, as needed.
- Respond to sourcing needs to provide resources for project managers in properties.
- Work with the Strategic Sourcing Director to achieve HPI business objectives through special projects and maintenance of established programs.
