RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are looking for Machinist II in Deer Park, TX. This person will be assisting in maintaining plant production by making repairs within scope of expertise. Duration: 12 months contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Make mechanical repairs on plant equipment and perform preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
- Learn to identify equipment malfunctions and repair before catastrophic failure. Begins to develop expertise in a specialized skill.
- Operate manual machine equipment or machine shop (Lathes and Mills).
- Interacts with peers, supervisors, and internal / external customers -- may work on special projects with peers from other work groups Ability to read and interpret routine instructions
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (Mfg.)
- Sets up, monitors and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements (Mfg.)
- May operate multiple machines simultaneously (Mfg.)
- May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements
