Quality Assurance Specialist-Hot Stamp department

Reports To : Team Leader / Coordinator

Hourly Non-Exempt Status $16-25 per hour DOE Onsite only, no remote

Hot Stamp experience required

General Goals of the Position of Quality Assurance Specialist

In addition to the ones listed below, position duties may also include others.

Cross-sectional analysis should be done.

Vickers Hardness Test : Perform.

  • Measure the dimensions of hot stampings.
  • Conduct a tension test.
  • Test the roughness of the surface.
  • Keep track of all test-related records on the required spreadsheets and / or forms.
  • Provide information in response to requests for any monthly and yearly part verification criteria established by our customer.

Important Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Comply with the minimal requirements for testing and provide data as asked.
  • Create fresh data sheets for fresh components.
  • Instantaneously notify the necessary personnel of any testing failures.
  • Encourage the development of operational standards for all future testing.
  • Retain a UPAL Attendance Control Program-acceptable level of attendance.
  • Must be able to collaborate with others. Diffusion Layer Report, Vickers Hardness Test, Cross Sectional Analysis Report, Tensile Report, Surface Roughness Report, and Dimensional Analysis Report are among the reports that this job is required to prepare.
  • Responsibilities in Supervision for Quality Assurance Specialist

    This position has no supervisory responsibility.

The knowledge, skill, and / or ability needed are represented by the prerequisites given below. must successfully finish the Operator and Programmer Certification.     Associate's degree (AA) or its equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to a year of relevant experience and / or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to speak in front of groups of managers, clients, consumers, and the general public and communicate effectively.

    Ability to define issues, gather information, establish facts, and make sound judgments. Ability to deal with a number of abstract and tangible variables and interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or graphical form.

    computer expertise

    An individual must be skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point) in order to execute this work successfully as a Quality Assurance Specialist

  • Able to read and comprehend both 2D and 3D part drawings

The companion regularly needs to stand, walk, sit, reach with their hands and arms, and use their hands to finger, handle, or feel things. This position specifically calls for close eyesight, distant vision, and color vision.
