Job type: Internship (Part-time - 20 hours a week)
The 2025 Spring Internship will be part-time and have an 8-week term. Spring Internships begin Monday, March 17, 2025 and continue for eight weeks ending on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Responsibilities:
The Technology Analyst intern will provide system design requirements for Large language models (LLM's) to be deployed in a cost-effective way. They will also help in writing permission roles for different data access by the new AI system and need to have familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless functions. The intern will conduct performance testing and optimize the system for faster response times.

Skills needed:
- Pursing Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field and 1 year demonstrated experience in school work, internships, or jobs
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript (React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks).
- Experience working with LLMs, transformers, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless functions.
- Understanding of API development (FastAPI, Flask, Express.js, or similar)
- Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, or Vector DBs like Pinecone).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on projects.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
