About the Role:
As the RN NICU Educator, you will play a crucial role in onboarding and training new nursing staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position primarily involves weekdays, but flexibility to adjust your schedule to meet unit staffing needs is essential. This is a full-time role, consisting of 36 hours per week across four days.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs using various strategies focused on emergency response and medical management.
- Collaborate with team members, subject matter experts, multimedia developers, and learning management specialists to coordinate operational activities.
- Foster a learning environment for organizational staff and valued external providers.
- Work closely with departmental leadership and interdepartmental teams to assess educational needs and develop evidence-based, best practice curricula for targeted audiences.
- Requires 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires current organizational-specified CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
- Requires knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and educational program management.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and software applications. v2
- May require the ability to travel to within state of Indiana.
- NICU experience strongly preferred.
