Position Summary : Oversees the daily operation of wells including constant monitoring of well performance, planning, and supervising workover operations and optimization of field wide production and artificial lift systems. Responsible for the design and implementation of well completions, surface and subsurface production facilities, remedial and primary stimulation to include fracture stimulation design and optimization. Involvement in all phases of production and completion operations.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze, interpret, and optimize the performance of individual wells and artificial lift systems (AL) to include ESP and rod lift applications field wide. Determining the most efficient means to develop field production and associated facilities along with project economics. Identify wells for production enhancements
- Maximize the daily production and ultimate recovery of producing properties through optimum operational procedures and enhancements. Explore additional or new technologies to enhance production performance and / or well economics
- Work as asset manager for assigned filed asset area
- Prepare AFE’s for primary well completions, WOC and WOE activity
- Project manager for new well development in asset area of responsibility inclusive of well completions and design. Supervise project remotely and work with field personnel to provide efficient and economical well completions
- Work in a team environment with field personnel, reservoir, and geology through all phases of asset planning and development
- Maintain a good understanding of most all workover and completion techniques and applications
- Coordinate all phases of drilling, completion, and workover operations
- Routine field visits to access production and completion operations and engagement with field personnel
