Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee Commercial TI and Ground-Up projects across various locations. This role requires strong field leadership, schedule management, and coordination with subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for quality, safety, and detail and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Extensive travel is required.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure work quality, safety, and compliance

Oversee daily on-site operations and maintain adherence to schedules and budgets

Interpret construction documents, specifications, and schedules to direct site activities

Coordinate with customer representatives to ensure clear communication and alignment

Conduct jurisdictional inspections (building, health, fire departments, etc.)

Maintain and enforce project schedules and safety standards, including LOTO compliance

Manage and schedule final inspections and certifications of occupancy

Assist the Project Manager with tracking costs, change orders, and extra work requests

Compile and manage closeout documentation, including as-builts, warranties, and manuals

Conduct and document weekly safety meetings to ensure compliance with safety procedures

Complete daily site logs and updates by the end of each business day

Review submittals and manage punch lists through project completion

Coordinate timely arrival of owner-supplied equipment and vendor activities
Qualifications & Desired Education

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or retail construction. Car dealership experience is a HUGE plus.

Strong understanding of ground-up, TI, and car dealership construction practices

Skilled in reviewing and interpreting construction plans and submittals

Proficiency in managing subcontractors, inspections, and jobsite logistics

Familiarity with wood framing is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar software is preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Valid driver's license required
