What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Rimports?
Job description:
- Create design concepts for brand-new product and packaging projects.
- Develop layout and production designs for packaging, presentations, and merchandising displays.
- Create attractive and exciting social media and website imagery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 3 years relevant work experience
- Skill in generating original design concepts, developing multiple iterations, refining designs, and producing final production-ready artwork.
- Proficiency presenting and defending design concepts to management.
- Experienced with all Adobe Suite programs: Illustrator, PhotoShop and inDesign.
- Familiar with Mac OSX
- Experience with both product and lifestyle photography as well as studio lighting
- A good understanding of current design trends
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint & creating product presentations.
- Proficient in self-editing graphic design work (accuracy in creative placement, spelling, grammar, formatting, etc.)
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple tasks and completing deadlines.
- Photography skills - Plus
- Previous experience designing product packaging - Plus
- Experience with 3D design and/or CAD software - Plus
