Rindge Memorial School is seeking a qualified school nurse to begin at the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
The School Nurse strengthens and facilitates the educational process by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning for individual students and promoting the optimal level of wellness for students and staff. The nurse assumes responsibility for appropriate assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, management, and/or referral activities; serves as the direct link between physicians, families, and community agencies to assure access and continuity of health care for students; provides relevant instruction, counseling and guidance to students, parents staff and others concerning health related issues; upholds professional standards, the Nurse Practice Act, and other state and local statutes and regulations applicable to nursing practice; and adheres to district policies and administrative guidelines.
Knowledge of:
•Including but not limited to Part Ed 311, Nurse Practice Act, NH RSA 326-B:12 Scope of Practice; Registered Nurse as revised
•Confidentiality and Public School Health Records including but not limited to FERPA, HIPAA, and the confidentiality and ethics required by one's nursing license;
Skill in:
•Use clinical judgment in providing case management services.
•Providing exceptional customer service to staff and students.
•Planning and organizing work.
•Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
