We are looking for an Investment Analyst to work for our Cleveland client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other financial advisory transactions.
- Develop detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, and other valuation methods.
- Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and market trend assessments to support transaction decisions.
- Prepare and contribute to the creation of pitch books, investment memorandums, and client presentations.
- Support senior bankers in managing client relationships and executing complex transactions.
- Perform due diligence, including financial statement analysis, market research, and risk assessment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related finance roles.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of financial markets, M&A processes, and capital markets.
- Proficiency in financial research tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet.
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
