Our client is seeking an experienced Manager of Cyber Security to lead their security operations and ensure the protection of critical assets. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor a company-wide cybersecurity strategy.
- Lead incident response efforts, identifying and mitigating security breaches.
- Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and audits to maintain compliance.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure security protocols align with organizational goals.
- Research and implement tools and processes for proactive threat detection and prevention.
- Mentor and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
