We are seeking a Cyber Security Governance Manager - Sr to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who can effectively support our Cyber Security Segment under the guidance of our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The individual will play a crucial role in managing audit compliance and risk remediation. This opportunity offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Lead the management of Audit, Regulatory Risk, and Self-Identified Findings
Guide a team of colleagues based across multiple locations
Regularly report status updates to the CISO Segment Senior Leadership and Management
Build and maintain robust working relationships with key partners in Risk, Cyber Security, and IT areas
Conduct risk-based evaluations and analyses in various domains to identify issues and devise remediation strategies
Ensure timely escalation of critical issues to senior management
Collaborate effectively with audit/business segment/segment risk to address issues with feasible action plans and target dates
Uphold business segment's adherence to corporate and business unit policies and procedures
Develop and maintain a roadmap inclusive of strategic, tactical, and continuous improvement initiatives
Enhance reporting by deepening data depth and broadening the process footprint to drive governance risk metrics, security analysis, process efficiency modeling, and controls
Manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and ensure timely completion of activities
Advocate for process improvements, simplification, and automation across the enterprise
Stay updated on technology developments and align future state goals with strategic business objectives
Strong communication skills, both written and verbalProven management experience, preferably within a cyber security context
Expertise in reporting, including metric and KPI reporting
Proficiency in designing and implementing procedures and policies
Familiarity with compliance regulations and standards within the cyber security field
Experience with planning processes in a cyber security environment
Knowledge and experience in conducting audits, including internal audits
Ability to deliver effective presentations to various stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team
Deep understanding of security principles and best practices
Negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and resolve conflicts
Proficiency in data analysis, with a focus on security-related data
Experience with cloud technologies and their security considerations
Ability to work effectively with partners and stakeholders at various levels
Experience in process improvement, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to prioritize tasks and projects based on business needs and risks
Knowledge of risk management practices in a cyber security context
Familiarity with various security frameworks and their application
Experience in managing projects within set timelines.
