Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances and database systems.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Perform regular database backups and test recovery procedures.
- Identify and resolve database-related issues and errors.
- Collaborate with application developers to troubleshoot query performance problems.
- Monitor database growth trends and plan for capacity expansion as needed.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools for routine database tasks.
Qualifications
- 4 years of as a SQL Database Administrator
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server 2016 and later versions.
- Knowledge of database security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Proficiency in T-SQL for scripting and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.
- Familiarity with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
