Job Purpose
Performs a variety of customer service related duties as well as assisting the manager on duty with general supervision of facility and its programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interact with customers both in person and over the phone
Communicate professionally both in writing and verbally to customers and staff
Answer phone and provide accurate answers to customer questions
Route calls to appropriate personnel
Handle registration for memberships and facility programs
Receive payments and fees for memberships and facility programs
Accurately record payments and issues receipts
Accurately count down drawer and maintains cash drawer balance
Accurately enter information into database
Maintain front desk area
Make renewal calls and past due balance calls as assigned
Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must be at least 16 years old
Administrative experience preferred
Working Conditions
Position is located in an office environment at a recreational facility. Work may need to be performed outside or throughout the facility
Physical Requirements
Requires sitting for extended periods of time and use of a computer, keyboard, etc. May require lifting up to 50lbs.
