Job Overview
As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between customers and the automotive service department. Your role will involve assessing customer needs, providing recommendations, and ensuring a smooth service experience.
Duties
- Interact with customers to determine vehicle issues and service needs
- Provide estimates for repairs and services
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers
- Communicate service updates to customers in a clear and timely manner
- Upsell additional services or products as appropriate
- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of repairs
Experience
- Prior experience in customer service within an automotive or mechanical environment
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes such as oil changes, air brakes, and transmission work
- Familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately write service orders and estimates
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $40.00 per hour
