ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To, The Following
- Welcome guests warmly and offer assistance upon their arrival, ensuring a gracious farewell upon departure.
- Aid guests in handling their luggage, ensuring safe delivery to guest rooms or secure storage following hotel procedures.
- Assist guests in loading and unloading their belongings from vehicles, offering support as required.
- Collaborate closely with the Bell Services dispatch team to efficiently coordinate and deliver services to guests.
- Provide accurate and helpful information regarding the property's amenities, facilities, local attractions, and dining choices.
- Accept and promptly log incoming packages and mail for guests, notifying recipients promptly.
- Cultivate positive guest relations by being approachable, courteous, and attentive to their needs.
- Address guest concerns or issues with empathy and efficiency, resolving matters promptly or escalating them to the Front Services management team or relevant management.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing bell service area.
- Always maintain a professional appearance by wearing a well-maintained uniform and name tag.
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of one year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service, is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Bell Person or in a similar guest service role within a luxury hotel, high-end resort, or exclusive private estate is advantageous.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, accompanied by a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Demonstrates high motivation and an energetic personality, coupled with a strong dedication to delivering exceptional hospitality.
- Proficient at maintaining composure while working in demanding and hectic situations.
- Ensures the confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information.
- Embraces a customer-centric approach with a deep commitment to providing outstanding and personalized guest experiences.
- Familiarity with local attractions, events, and cultural offerings to offer informed recommendations to guests.
- Physical fitness and the capability to lift and transport luggage and packages for guests.
- Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, bustling, and occasionally stressful work environment.
- Provide an updated Nevada Motor Vehicle Report every six months and immediately inform the department leader of any changes to the Nevada Driver’s License status.
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary.
- One year previous experience as a Bell Person is preferred.
- Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
- Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
- Must regularly lift and/move up to 50-80 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
- Must be able to push and/or pull heavy rolling loads in excess of 300 pounds.
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust, and smoke.
- The pay range for this position is $13.98 - $17.48/hour.
