We are looking for a Site Coordinator - Mine who will be responsible for coordinating the facilities and mobile equipment work performed by Kennecott Operational Services (KOS) with a given Kennecott production plant.
This is a great opportunity to engage multiple level in the organization, support the production of copper, manage budgets and teamwork. We are hiring in multiple locations such as the Mine and Concentrator.

Reporting to the KOS Minerals Manager and working with both site leadership and KOS Designated Leaders, you will be:
- Involved with leadership in Health, Safety, Environment and the mental wellbeing of our employees and contractors.
- Attend site MOS meetings and Work Management meetings for the site and KOS.
- Coordinate with the site, KOS Designated Leaders and the planning team to efficiently schedule work for both facilities and mobile equipment.
- Create Notifications, Work Orders and Requisitions in RTBS (SAP.)
- Monitor and actively manage maintenance and operating budgets.
What you’ll bring

- Knowledge of Asset Management for both facilities and mobile equipment is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration and team building skills.
- Passion for Continuous Improvement and a long-term mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills with high competence in the Microsoft Office suite and SAP.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree would be beneficial.
- 3 years of maintenance or production experience.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments with appropriate prioritization.

Our Kennecott mine is a world-class, fully integrated copper mining operation, including a concentrator, smelter and refinery, located just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States.
