Overview
We are seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The candidate must have a degree in Accounting or Business and experience with QuickBooks. They should have the ability to function independently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and payroll.
Duties:
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Manage general ledger accounting
- Utilize 10-key typing for data entry
- Record debits and credits
- Handle journal entries and maintain financial statements
- Be proficient in using accounting software
- Experience in accounting is a plus
- Be proficient with QuickBooks software
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and concepts
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping
- A degree in accounting or business is preferred
