About the role
We are looking for a Crisis Management Intern for our Corsicana, TX office. This is a summer internship, expected to last 10-weeks, with an average of 40-hours per week. It is our goal to provide a collaborative work environment that allows our interns to take ownership of their projects, experiment, and ask questions.
You will work closely with our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team to develop, implement and communicate a comprehensive crisis management program. Building strong relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners (such as law enforcement and local first responders) will be important. You will also help maintain site risk assessment documentation and support new office projects, contributing to a secure and well-managed environment.
Requirements
- Understand basic concepts of vulnerability or risk and resilience assessments.
- Strong written, verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations, and written report preparation.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
- FEMA / DHS Training courses (preferred, not required).
- Ability to report to our Corsicana, TX office at least 4-days a week for the duration of the internship.
