About The Role
A Mechanical Maintenance Team Lead oversees the operations and maintenance of pumping systems and equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and effective communication. This role is located at our Bitcoin Operation in Corsicana, TX.
Essential Functions
- Supervise and guide the pump team in daily operations, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pump systems and equipment.
- Plan and execute projects, manage resources, and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Evaluate team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans.
- Prepare and present reports on team performance, project status, and operational metrics.
- Deep understanding of pump systems, including centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and clients.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and manage performance.
- Competence in planning, organizing, and managing projects to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pump maintenance and repair.
- At least 1 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience with various types of pumps and related systems in industrial settings.
- Relevant certifications in pump maintenance and repair (e.g., Pump Systems Matter (PSM) certification) are advantageous.
- Safety certifications such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) are preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software related to pump systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
