Position Overview:

The Chief of Staff (CoS) will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO and executive team in driving organizational success. This role requires a highly organized, results-oriented, and strategic leader who is capable of managing multiple priorities and initiatives. The CoS will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insight, guidance, and leadership across various business functions while ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will have strong business administration experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
  • Provide leadership and oversight on key projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Identify potential challenges or risks in business operations and propose solutions.
  • Assist in strategic decision-making processes by gathering, analyzing, and presenting data and insights.
  • Communication & Coordination:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between the CEO and key stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Facilitate effective communication across departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and priorities.
  • Prepare and review important internal and external communications, reports, and presentations on behalf of the CEO.
  • Project & Priority Management:
  • Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are effectively allocated.
  • Prioritize tasks based on business impact, urgency, and strategic importance.
  • Help the CEO manage their schedule and workload, identifying areas where additional support or delegation is needed.
  • Business Operations & Process Improvement:
  • Leverage experience in business operations to streamline processes and improve overall organizational efficiency.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure that key business functions (e.g., finance, marketing, HR) are aligned and operating smoothly.
  • Provide insights into operational performance, identifying areas for improvement or growth opportunities.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
  • Lead or mentor teams in the absence of the CEO, ensuring consistent execution of goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the organization.
  • Act as a role model for leadership, exemplifying the company’s values and ensuring alignment with its mission and vision.
  • Trusted Advisor:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing candid feedback, recommendations, and insights on business challenges and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the CEO’s strategic agenda.
  • Provide counsel on sensitive issues, ensuring that decisions are made with a clear understanding of the impact on the organization and its stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 7 years of experience in business operations, strategic planning, or a leadership role, preferably within the industry.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage complex tasks, juggle priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, manage people and resources, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically to identify business challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage others.
  • Adaptability Under Pressure: Ability to maintain composure and decision-making ability in high-pressure situations.
  • Cultural Alignment: Deep understanding of the company culture and values, with a genuine passion for the company’s mission.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of business operations, financial management, and industry dynamics to support decision-making.
  • Trusted Advisor: Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide trusted advice in a professional and unbiased manner.
