Ripley’s Attractions Supervisor
The Attractions Supervisor plays a key role in supporting the Admissions and Attractions Managers by fostering a positive, high-energy environment that delivers fast, friendly, and efficient service. This position ensures an exceptional experience for both guests and team members while upholding Ripley’s Core Values. The Attractions Supervisor assists with training, customer service, product knowledge, and safety while acting as the supervisor on duty in the absence of a manager.
Responsibilities:
- Foster strong, positive communication among all team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment; assist with product shipments as needed.
- Oversee point-of-sale (POS) operations, including opening and closing procedures and front- and back-of-house duties.
- Perform housekeeping tasks, including exhibit upkeep, restroom maintenance, and overall attraction cleanliness.
- Assist in coordinating staff schedules and coverage to optimize operations and maintain service standards.
- Monitor and uphold all cash-handling procedures, taking accountability for funds during shifts.
- Support Managers in planning and executing sales promotions effectively.
- Lead by example, reinforcing Standard Operating Procedures and maintaining company policies.
- Promote a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards or operational concerns.
- Document and report team member incidents, conduct initial accident investigations, and support safety initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Open availability, including holidays.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Preference for candidates able to work 40 hours per week.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Previous guest service and POS experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
