JOB DESCR I PTION
Basic Function :
Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the property, maintaining the building inside and out, repairing and cleaning exhibits, and other operations that adhere to all Company Policy / Attraction standards.
Pr i ncipal Responsibilities :
- Maintenance and Repair of Ripley's Odditorium.
- Keeping the entire grounds outside the facility clean and free of trash, gum, stray pine straw, etc.
- Maintenance and repair of exhibits.
- Maintenance and repair of building including restrooms.
- Maintenance of HVAC units.
- Custodial duties including :
Vacuuming carpet.
Essential Skills / Re quirement s :
1. Ability to follow company standards in repairing and maintaining exhibits.
2. Must be energetic, courteous and professional.
3. Must be knowledgeable of all Ripley attractions.
4. Ability to retain information on maintenance logs and schedules for cleaning and maintaining equipment.
5. Ability to operate and use all equipment and tools.
6. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
7. Ability to stand for periods of 7-8 hours.
8. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel in order to address maintenance needs.
9. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
10. Ability to work varied hours / days / holidays as business dictates.
Pref erred Qualifications :
Language : Fluent in English
