What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Experienced Indoor Trimmers position at Ripped City Gardens?
We are seeking an experienced full time trimmer to join our team. In this position, you will tightly trim cannabis by hand from our gardens before sending to retail stores. We require at least 2 years of experience trimming high quality dense indoor cannabis. As you trim, you will organize the flowers, shake, and sort trimmings into bins that we will weigh every two weeks. You will be paid based on the weight you finish, so the quicker you are, the more money you can make. This is a 1099, contractor position. Applicants must be trustworthy and have positive energy. This job requires manual dexterity and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
We pay $100 per pound of finished nugs. The cannabis we grow is a easily trim-able product. Experienced trimmers should be able to complete at least a pound and a half per day. We hold an extremely high expectation in our trim room.
Trimmer Duties and Responsibilities
- Tightly trim cannabis by hand for medicinal or retail purposes
- Trim at least 200 – 454 grams of flower per day
- Minimal handling of the flower.
- The ability to trim each flower to its unique expression.
- No shaving.
- No Crows Feet.
- Clean Cuts – No cutting into the buds.
- Organize trimmed flowers into separate bins
- Keep track of the product you trim for end-of-shift weighing
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing your work area.
- Assist with plant harvesting as needed
- Must provide own equipment
- Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Trimmer Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Must have OLCC Cannabis License
- Trimming experience a requirement
- Manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
