We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive the success of our Direct Sales team within the Eastern region including Massachusetts, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. *This role will also require occasional travel.*

About the role
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, executing regional sales strategies, and ensuring customer acquisition goals are met. Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Development
· Manage, mentor, and coach a team of Direct Sales Representatives within an assigned regional territory.
· Set and track individual and team sales targets, ensuring goals are consistently met or exceeded.
· Provide ongoing training, development, and performance feedback to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team.
· Implement sales best practices and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
· Foster a positive and high-energy sales culture, driving engagement and motivation across the team.
Regional Sales Strategy & Execution
· Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to increase market penetration and customer acquisition.
· Analyze regional sales performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
· Collaborate with corporate leadership to align regional sales efforts with company objectives.
· Work closely with marketing and operations teams to support lead generation efforts and customer experience initiatives.
· Drive market expansion efforts, identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities.
Customer & Community Engagement
· Represent Ripple Fiber at local events, community initiatives, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness.
· Work with the team to enhance customer engagement and retention, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact to installation.
· Address customer feedback and implement solutions to improve the sales process and service delivery.
Operational & Performance Management
· Maintain a deep understanding of Ripple Fiber’s products and competitive landscape to effectively position our services.
· Utilize CRM systems and sales reporting tools to track performance and optimize workflows.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations within the assigned territory.
· Monitor and manage sales budgets and incentive programs, maximizing efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in sales management, direct sales, or territory sales leadership, preferably in the telecommunications, broadband, or technology industries.
· Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams.
· Strong understanding of territory management, sales forecasting, and pipeline development.
· Ability to analyze sales data and KPIs, making data-driven decisions to enhance team performance.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving growth in a fast-paced, competitive market.
· Proficiency in CRM tools, sales tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
