About the role
As a Project Manager at Ripple Fiber, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing a variety of projects that are crucial to our growth and success. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from initial market selection to construction completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and implementation of an engineering and construction build plan
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineering, permitting, construction, operations, sales, and marketing.
- Take ownership of assigned markets, serving as the primary point of contact for internal partners to understand the overall project status.
- Provide frequent communication to the project team to ensure they are aware and aligned on project priorities, risks, and action items.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and resolve any conflicts that arise.
- Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.
- Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Evaluate project outcomes and gather feedback to enhance future projects.
- Travel to assigned markets as needed (up to 25% travel).
- Planning and scheduling for their assigned markets
- QuickBase management of key milestones to keep company informed of engineering, permitting, and construction progress
- Driving strategic planning between Area Selection, Engineering, Permitting, Construction to ensure alignment on build order and cadence
- Escalation of any risks to management
- Review of daily production reports
- Daily management of schedule and risk management for 8-week schedule in QuickBase
- Communication with key stakeholders to drive progress on deliverables
Qualifications:
- 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and MS Excel.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to anticipate and address challenges
- Data analytics and data visualization skills a plus
