What You’ll Do:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for open positions, from job postings to interviewing and hiring.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and ensuring a seamless introduction to the company’s culture.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and providing guidance on HR-related issues.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting employee engagement and supporting conflict resolution.
- Assist in organizing employee events, training sessions, and company-wide initiatives to strengthen company culture.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance management process by providing guidance to managers on employee evaluations, feedback, and development plans.
- Assist in identifying training needs and help coordinate professional development programs.
Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues and support open enrollment periods.
HR Reporting & Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
- Provide regular reports on HR metrics such as turnover, recruitment, training, and employee satisfaction.
General HR Support:
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate employee time tracking in partnership with the supervisors.
- Coordinate internal communication related to HR updates, policy changes, and training opportunities.
Previous Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Bilingual Speaking ability is required.
- 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software (experience with Paycom is a plus).
