About The Role

We partner with our most strategic customers and are looking for experienced leaders that are looking to increase retention and growth among our largest customers, help build new strategies for the larger AM team and be the client advocate internally.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of experienced account managers to deliver impacted business results.
  • Ensures that account managers meet the ongoing needs of clients while accomplishing individual revenue goals through retention and expansion.
  • Provide support and mentorship to direct reports by participating and leading in client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as needed.
  • Develop a winning team, including recruiting, hiring and continued training.
  • Coach direct reports on strategies to drive sales wins and optimize retention
  • Directly manage and resolve customer escalations.
  • Accurately report on sales activity and forecasting to senior AM leadership.
  • Make suggestions for product improvements to better support our partners
  • Pitch in on all sorts of things – never not your problem!

Qualifications

  • 5 years of SaaS experience in customer success, account management, or sales and at least 2 years experience scaling and managing a client-facing sales or account management team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of team quota-attainment via new product sales and upgrades (license expansion sales are not likely relevant).
  • Ruthless prioritization and time management.
  • Passion for helping customers and colleagues.
  • Highly effective communicator with good people instincts - able to build trust and work well with a diverse group inside and outside the company.
  • Interest and experience in actively working with product and engineering teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to solve complex, interdependent problems.
  • Eager for a very hands-on role, where you’ll be asked to take on and run with a range of projects outside your comfort zone, and learn quickly.
  • Experience working in PEO industry a plus.

Rippling highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. For office-based employees (employees who live within a 40 mile radius of a Rippling office), Rippling considers working in the office, at least three days a week under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role.

This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary sales commission) benefits equity. The On-Target Earnings* US-based employees will be 65/35 commission split for base/variable pay for the range listed below.


OTE (65/35 commission split): $230,000/year

A variety of factors are considered when determining someone’s compensation–including a candidate’s professional background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed below.
