PRIVATE HOME CARE FOR A 16yo (MVA) TRACH PEDIATRIC CLIENT IN MT AIRY, GA. Client has a g-tube and a catheter as well.
2 weekdays 9a-7p
TRACH/VENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
$50hr RN
1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.

The RN in Home Health provides and directs provisions of nursing care to patients in their homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and agency policies. Also, The RN role coordinates the total plan of care with other health care professionals, and helps to achieve and maintain continuity of patient care by planning and exchanging information with physician, agency personnel, patient, family, and community resources. All done within the patients home.
We are looking for compassionate RN to provide skilled nursing services to patients in their homes in accordance with an established care plan!!
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Follow physician prescribed patient care plan
- Administer prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Complete & document patient assessment
- Assess, monitor, and document changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Provide companionship and basic emotional and/or psychological support
Qualifications
- Trach/Vent experience preferred
- GJ tube experience preferred
- At 1 least one year clinical experience required
- Home health nursing experience preferred
- Must hold current Georgia RN licensure
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Nursing and health care administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Ability to build rapport with patients & their family
