Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system effectively.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Collaborate with coworkers in preparing necessary ingredients throughout the week.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and special promotions.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently.
- Knowledge of food service operations is a plus, particularly in fine dining environments.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is essential.
- A background in catering or banquet services is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
