About the Role
At Rise Baking Company, LLC, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. This key position plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop Quality Assurance Technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Lead the inspection of incoming ingredients and products to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve any quality issues or concerns that arise during production.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to minimize defects and improve overall product quality.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Control, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field, preferably in the food industry.
- Knowledge of GFSI (BRC or SQF preferred), internal auditing, cGMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Certifications in HACCP and PCQI, or willingness to become certified.
