About the Role
The Rise Baking Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise a diverse work force, including staffing, training, and performance standards.
- Oversee the day-to-day assignments of the maintenance team, partnering with the maintenance manager to develop scope and assign technicians to work orders and projects.
- Ensure weekly preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and work orders are completed satisfactorily, monitoring scheduled work and adjusting as required to meet production schedules.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to standards, specifications, and blueprints, continually monitoring working conditions and equipment use to suggest changes that increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-4 years of maintenance experience, with a strong background in electrical and PLC knowledge.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley hardware and software, as well as demonstrated ability to organize and supervise a diverse work force.
- Knowledge of food manufacturing, FDA/USDA, OSHA, and EPA regulations, with proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS.
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to support multiple projects, strong decision-making skills with ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
