Summary: Program Director is responsible for overseeing all departments within the Rise Service line for their Region. They are responsible for implementing new services within Rise. Hires, trains, and promotes professional growth of the employees within the department so that a competent workforce is maintained. Ensures that all departmental staff are compliant in training per agency and facility standards. Conducts performance evaluations of assigned staff to give employees timely feedback on their performance and oversees staff development plans and activities
Essential Functions:
A: Job Specific
- Initiate and set goals for the rise program according to the strategic objectives of Rise Community Hospital.
- Orchestrate the admissions process with all departments.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Research emerging trends and recommend new company offerings to satisfy patient needs.
- Help create budgets around projected future business.
- Consult and collaborate with other health care providers to set up treatment plans.
- Takes an active and collaborative role as a member of the Rise executive team.
- Assist, adjust, and present policies/procedures with staff to better the Rise service line.
- Compiles competitive data and analyzes various service lines.
- Acts as a liaison between program staff and referents.
- Meets with department heads regularly to ensure all departments are maintaining efficiently.
- Assign outstanding tasks to proper departments and provide guidance within Rise.
- Provide frequent training to all departments within Rise when new protocols are put into place.
- Hire, train, and be a motivating mentor to Rise staff.
- Create and nurture effective communication within the organization.
- Approves work schedules, vacations and time off for Rise staff.
- Provide Reports to Supervisors regarding service line.
- Implement ongoing safety monitors.
- Assists the Executive Program Director as necessary.
- Rotating responsibility for after hours and weekend on call support.

- Reports to work on time as scheduled; adheres to policies regarding notification of absence.
- Attends all mandatory in-services and staff meetings.
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
- Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the hospital, as well as the focus statement of the department.
Maintains current licensure/certification for position, if applicable.
- Consistently demonstrates Guest Relation’s skills to patients, physicians, visitors, employees, and any other individuals with whom they may come in contact.
- Consistently follows departmental and hospital Health, Safety, Security, Hazardous Materials policies and procedures.
- HIPAA: Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with HIPAA privacy laws, follow hospital policy in provision of patient confidentiality. Able to identify patient confidentiality issues and reports to proper hospital personnel immediately.
- Compliance: Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with standards set forth in Rise Community Hospital Code of Conduct, Rise Community Hospital policy and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable standards.
- Employee must maintain a courteous and respectful attitude toward fellow employees, staff, contractors, vendors and the public at all times. Employee must avoid loud, profane, or unprofessional language at all times during the performance of duties. It is immediate grounds for termination if Employee engages in misconduct or is incompetent or negligent in the proper performance of duties or is disorderly, dishonest, intoxicated, or discourteous.
