Summary
The Business Development Director is a pivotal role dedicated to expanding our organization's mission and impact in chemical dependency and addiction recovery services. This strategic leader will cultivate relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, funding organizations, and governmental agencies to increase visibility, secure sustainable funding, and develop innovative programs that meet community needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations, insurance providers, community stakeholders, and public agencies.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives aimed at expanding services and improving program delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies for service growth, including the identification and pursuit of new service contracts, grants, and collaborative opportunities.
- Research, identify, and secure diverse funding sources through grant applications, sponsorship opportunities, and donor engagement.
- Write, review, and submit grant proposals; manage compliance and reporting requirements in collaboration with program and finance departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, sponsors, and community supporters.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's mission and growth objectives.
- Analyze market trends, demographic data, and community needs to inform program development and strategic decisions.
- Regularly assess service effectiveness and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the organization's impact and service delivery.
- Represent the organization in community events, conferences, and workshops, advocating for policies and practices beneficial to chemical dependency recovery.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
- Facilitate community outreach activities aimed at increasing awareness and promoting educational initiatives around addiction recovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Business Development, Marketing, or related fields.
- Personal or family experience with long term recovery.
- Experience in public speaking and training public communities
- Familiarity in ongoing program of recovery and knowledge of recovery principles.
- Applicants must have a valid Texas driver license, a minimum of six (6) years of driving experience, and a clean driving record.
- Applicants must be twenty-three (23) years of age or older to comply with Rise Recovery’s insurance requirements.
- Must maintain automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of Rise Recovery’s auto insurance carrier if personal vehicle is driven during company business.
Preferred
- Personal or family experience with long term recovery
- Knowledge of Texas Department of State Health Services rules and regulations pertaining to substance use counseling and treatment.
- Knowledge of the appropriate standards of care for chemical dependency recovery services.
- Fluent in both verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
