Staff qualifications:
Preferred—Training in Early Care and Education (TECE 1 & 2) or CDA, First Aid/CPR, and Administration of Medication.
*Obtaining these certifications will be required within a specified timeframe following the start of employment.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
Candidates selected to fill a position will be responsible for:
- Implementing lesson plans
- Enforcing routines
- Maintaining a safe, comfortable, & sanitary environment at all times
- Providing age-appropriate supervision and discipline
- Documenting observations of children
- Professionally communicating with parents
* Candidates must be able to work in a team-based environment & be flexible with working with different age groups.
*Candidates must demonstrate professional body language and maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor with a positive smile.
All staff must complete health screenings, and undergo background checks for FBI and State criminal histories in addition to child abuse and neglect clearances.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
