Position Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The QC Analyst will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing and product development by performing release and stability testing, method validation, and in-process testing for GMP materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform QC testing of Rise products, including development runs and GMP materials.
- Conduct analytical assays including but not limited to CFU, flow cytometry, water activity testing, ELISAs, PCR, and HPLC methods.
- Maintain accurate testing schedules and documentation.
- Prepare QC reagents and maintain lab supply inventory.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to plan testing for new lots and stability studies.
- Draft stability protocols and assist with protocol execution.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of data to supervisors and cross-functional teams.
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist with process development, research activities, and method qualification/validation.
- Participate in investigations for deviations or out-of-specification (OOS) results.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory techniques, including PCR, DNA extraction, bacterial cell culture, spectrophotometry, microscopy, ELISA, DNA transfection, molecular cloning, and plasmid extraction.
- Strong background in flow cytometry.
- Prior experience in a GMP, GLP, or regulated laboratory environment is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow SOPs and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
