Rise Up Kings is a Christian personal development brand that is looking for a full time position handling Inventory and Event Preparation. This role would include the below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Forecasting & Maintaining Supply Levels: Monitor and manage inventory for various needs, including events, office supplies, employee gifting, and building & grounds maintenance.
- Creative Product & Supply Procurement: Research, source, and propose new inventory ideas that align with the brand’s vision and creative direction.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure a consistent supply of quality products.
- Quality Control: Evaluate and ensure that sample products meet desired standards of quality and align with brand aesthetics.
- Purchasing: Handle product and supply procurement, ensuring that all purchases are cost-effective while meeting creative and quality standards.
- Comparison Price Shopping: Research and shop for comparable or better products at potential cost savings, ensuring cost efficiency in procurement.
- Inventory Preparation for Off-Site Events: Organize and prepare inventory for events, ensuring all supplies are ready and aligned with event needs.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels both in storage and through software systems to ensure precise tracking and control.
- Pre-Event Gifting: Monitor and ensure that all pre-event gifting is mailed according to schedule.
- Online Store Management: Ensure inventory levels are maintained in the online store, orders are processed on time, and the website is updated with new stock.
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Strong organizational skills to manage and track inventory orders needed for events and the online store.
- Creative thinking to proactively identify and procure unique products and supplies for events and gifting.
- Willingness to Adapt: Ability to creatively respond to last-minute event needs and problem-solve on the fly.
- Extreme Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in product selection, inventory tracking, and event preparation.
- General Knowledge of Audio/Visual Technologies or a willingness to learn.
- Purchasing Knowledge: Experience in product procurement and vendor management, with an understanding of purchasing strategies and cost analysis.
- Proficiency with database maintenance and tools like Shopify, Shipstation, Square, or similar platforms.
- Strong Communication Skills: Able to clearly communicate needs with internal teams, vendors, and clients, ensuring smooth coordination.
- Logistical or Project Management Experience: Preferred experience in managing logistics or overseeing multiple aspects of event and inventory planning.
- Professional Etiquette: Maintain courteous and professional communication with vendors, clients, and team members via email, phone, and text.
- Time Management: Excel in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and responding to urgent or last-minute requests with creativity and efficiency.
