Key Responsibilities
Inventory Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory control, ensuring the right products are available at the right time.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels using advanced metrics to forecast needs and make data-driven decisions.
- Identify trends and patterns in inventory usage to improve stock management.
- Design and implement inventory tracking systems and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead regular cycle counts and annual audits to maintain inventory integrity and compliance.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory management and report findings to senior management.
- Partner with procurement, production, and logistics teams to synchronize inventory with overall supply chain operations.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve inventory-related issues and improve service levels.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align inventory levels with promotional activities and customer demand.
- Design and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery of goods.
- Utilize data analytics to forecast demand, track supply chain performance metrics, and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, trends, and forecasts to senior management.
- Implement technology solutions to enhance inventory management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of supply chain best practices and inventory management methodologies (e.g., Just-in-Time, ABC analysis).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical activities associated with inventory management, including walking, standing, and climbing.
