Overview
RiseUp-Sports is a rapidly growing organization looking for passionate sports enthusiasts who love working with kids. As an entry-level coaching position, this role provides an exciting opportunity to dive into the heart of our organization, working directly with youth athletes. We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Youth Volleyball Coach to mentor and inspire young players in our volleyball program. While we welcome applications from coaches with a background in other sports, we are specifically looking for someone with a solid understanding of volleyball fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for developing both the athletic and personal growth of youth players. Duties:
- Conduct volleyball clinics for kids ages 10-14, helping them develop essential skills such as serving, passing, setting, and spiking. (Must be open to helping with ther sports as well)
- Create a fun, enjoyable, and safe environment for kids to learn and grow in the sport.
- Set up and manage indoor or outdoor volleyball nets (training provided if needed).
- Must be willing to to help transport equipment such as balls, cones, or any applicable equipment.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and facility administrators to provide feedback on progress and set expectations.
- Be open to traveling to various locations throughout the county to conduct programs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong background in sports coaching, with a preference for experience in volleyball. We also offer other programs such as Track & Field, Soccer, Basketball, and Flag Football— the more sports you’re familiar with, the better!
- Experience working with children or students in an educational or athletic setting.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively guide and support young athletes.
- Ability to teach the fundamentals of volleyball while encouraging physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with players, parents, and team members effectively.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different program locations across the county.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
