What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROS Employment Specialist position at RiseWell Community Services?
RiseWell Community Services is seeking a Full-Time Employment Specialist who will report to the Program Manager at the PROS Program within the Clinical Department in Copiague.
HOURS: 40 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree, and a minimum of one year training and or experience in job finding, employment, counseling or vocational rehabilitation. Valid and clean NYS Drivers License. Fingerprinting, criminal record check, approval from NYS Office of Mental Health.
JOB FUNCTION:
Provide therapeutic groups and individual interventions to assist members in growth and recovery. Responsible for engaging members in employment. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Complete all required documentation within a 48 hour period and complies with program and OMH regulations.
