What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Opener/Closer position at Rising Leaders of Success?
Rising Leaders of Success is seeking a dependable individual who enjoys making a positive impact on the lives of children and building lasting relationships with their families! *Please note that if you do not have a degree in Early Childhood Education and/or have less than three years of experience, the offered pay will be $10 per hour. There is also an option to return later in the day to assist with closing for additional hours.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all children arrive during business hours and are signed in.
- Be aware of when each child arrives and when they leave.
- Greet parents or caregivers and set a positive tone for the day.
- Assess children's health upon arrival.
- Enforce and assist children with handwashing
- Follow safety procedures for ensuring the safe arrival and dismissal of children.
- Prepare Breakfast
- Follow sanitation guidelines for cleaning after breakfast.
Skills
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
- Certification in child CPR
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
