Job Overview
The Barback- Part Time role at Rising Star Casino is a vital position that contributes to the exceptional service and cleanliness standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in assigned service areas, including bars and surrounding spaces.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction by delivering courteous, friendly, and attentive service.
- Ensure a safe working environment for colleagues and guests by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Support ice management by transferring ice from machines to bins as needed.
- Comply with state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- In emergency situations or special assignments, assist Marine and Security departments in meeting tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide customer service that reflects the company's values of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.).
- Immediately report any internal control or state regulation violations related to gaming activities to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on duty.
Additional Duties:
- Perform miscellaneous tasks assigned by management.
- May also serve at banquets and other events.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of relevant experience.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations.
- A valid Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 3, and an Indiana Alcohol Beverage permit.
- The physical ability to perform heavy and continuous lifting.
